From January 2023 - April 2023 I participated in the "QU in LA" program, in which a select group of communications students were chosen to intern and study in LA for a duration of 12 weeks. I had the privilege of interning at Indigenous Media as an assistant editor, where I was able to work on both short form content (60 Second Docs), as well as feature length documentaries.

Tasks:

• Produce short-form documentary content receiving approx. 50m weekly views across platforms.

• Synchronize raw footage and pull selects from ingested footage.

• Assemble string-outs for editor for short-form and long-form documentaries.
